Frame - Wood, Plaster - Nineteenth Century

An Umbertine-period or late 19th-century frame. The frame features a richly carved molding with volute and botanical motifs. Inside, a dark geometric frieze serves as a contrast element to the external gilding, adding depth to the structure.
One of the distinctive characteristics of this piece is the presence of an inner passepartout, finished with a granular texture and embellished with elegant raised floral decorations in the corners. Measurements 31x23.5 cm.
The back reveals the natural wooden frame, which confirms the artisanal craftsmanship of the time, with mitered joints that maintain structural stability.
The frame shows the signs of age typical of antique objects, which enhance its antique value. There are some cracks in the wooden parts and minimal losses in the raised decorations.
