Wooden Boutique model rotating display stand from France, dating to 1940–1950, in good used condition, in antique Luis XVI style with three adjustable circular shelves and overall dimensions 116 cm high by 50 cm square.
Description from the seller
It is a display stand that breathes the warm, well-proportioned classicism of Louis XVI, yet reinterpreted for a very contemporary purpose: to present cakes, sweets, or small boutique objects with an almost theatrical elegance. The central wooden structure—warm, polished, with grain that adds depth—acts as the backbone of the piece, topped by a small decorative plume reminiscent of the neoclassical finials from the late 18th century.
Around it spin the shelves, three circular platforms that can be placed to the client’s liking, creating a dynamic play between symmetry and自由 compositive freedom. That ability to adjust heights and orientations makes the piece alive, adaptable, capable of dialoguing with what it displays. Each shelf maintains a soft edge, slightly moulded, evoking the restrained ornamentation of the period, without excess or brashness.
The curved legs that support the base provide stability and a touch of grace, as if inheriting the transition between late Rococo and the neoclassical order. The whole ensemble conveys balance, refinement, and a serene presence, perfect for a patisserie with a classic air or for a contemporary interior seeking an authentic historical accent.
Insured shipping and careful packaging.
