Description from the seller
Hello.
Here is a Vintage Collection piece from the 1960s
- Olivetti Lettera 32 typewriter -
The Lettera 32 is a portable mechanical typewriter from Olivetti, designed in 1963 by the Italian designer Marcello Nizzoli (Italy).
Very popular among journalists and students, it succeeded the Lettera 22, by the same engineer and also very popular.
In 1963, Olivetti introduced the Lettera 32. Based on the design of the previous model, it may seem a simple restyling of the Lettera 22, but in reality, various mechanical modifications were made to improve performance: a different design of the movement of the different parts, a new hammer basket, a new roller structure, etc. The new system, designed with engineer Giuseppe Beccio, was then used in later Olivetti models, including the Olivetti Dora, the Lettera De Luxe, the Lettera 25 and 35, as well as the Olivetti Valentine (Italy).
The Lettera 32 were manufactured in the Italian city of Ivrea, as well as in Yugoslavia, Spain and, later, in Mexico.
A true collectible piece for vintage enthusiasts.
Sold in its condition, ideal for decoration or for use.
The ribbon will need to be changed for new use.
Shipping mode: careful packaging, secured and reinforced throughout its transit, delivered in 2 to 4 business days with tracking number.
- Insurance included -
