Description from the seller
Exclusive Cognac Glass Warmer / Table Lighter "Swan" in Hallmark 915 Silver - Spain, 20th Century
Lot Description
Exquisite and singular piece of Spanish goldsmithing made in Hallmark Silver 915 thousandths. This refined tabletop item is designed specifically as a premium warmer for cognac or brandy glasses (table lighter). Its structure adopts the elegant and organic silhouette of a swan with wings spread and carved in detail, perched on a reflective oval base.
The design is both aesthetic and functional: the bird’s neck and the curved rear support form the perfect stand to hold a balloon glass in the ideal position for tempering the liquor. In the center, the swan’s back houses the original alcohol or fuel reservoir, equipped with its wick and a diffuser stopper connected by a delicate security chain. When lit, it provides the gentle heat needed to enhance the aromas before tasting. An exceptional display piece, ideal for silver collectors and connoisseurs of distilled spirits.
