EA219 office chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames, manufactured by ICF in Italy, dating from 1970 to 1980, in good used condition with minor signs of wear.

The quintessential office chair
EA219 model by Charles & Ray Eames
This swiveling executive chair EA 219, authentic and branded ICF for Herman Miller, is in excellent condition.
It features a high back, a chrome frame, and soft black leather upholstery.
The five-star base, equipped with casters, ensures optimal comfort.
Designed by the renowned designers Charles and Ray Eames, the chair was produced by the American company Herman Miller.
Until the 1980s, Herman Miller licensed distribution and production of its furniture in Europe, with Vitra, a Swiss company, and ICF, an Italian company, as the main holders.
After the 1980s, the license remained exclusively with Vitra, making the early productions an exclusive vintage furniture piece like the one for sale.
Normal signs of wear over time, some small nicks on the outer sides of the black leather
While the cushions and the leather are in excellent condition
The only notable defect: the lever to raise and lower the seat is missing.
At the moment it is at the standard base height
Eventually the replacement part can be found and installed
We are nonetheless talking about one of the icons of historic design office chairs
This model, now in production by Vitra, costs over 5k in the list price when configured this way
