ORIGINAL VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPH OF ERNEST HEMINGWAY AND ANTONIO ORDÓÑEZ – SIGNED “CANO” (PACO CANO “CANITO”)
Interesting original period photograph in which the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway and the legendary bullfighter Antonio Ordóñez appear together.
The photograph features the characteristic signature "CANO" in the image, attributable to the renowned Spanish photographer Francisco Cano Lorenza, internationally known as "Canito", one of the most important bullfighting photographers of the 20th century and author of numerous historical images related to Hemingway, Ordóñez, Dominguín and the Spanish bullfighting world.
It is a large-format, black-and-white photograph, from an old private collection.
Hemingway maintained a close relationship with Antonio Ordóñez during the fifties, a period considered one of the most important in the history of bullfighting and in the writer’s own biography. Original photographs from this period are especially valued by collectors of literature, historical photography, and bullfighting-themed works.
Condition: shows normal signs of age and storage. Sold exactly as it appears in the photographs.
