Beautiful rug from 1930 purchased, used until 1960 and then stored in a suitcase.
Recently taken out, so well preserved.
It is a divan or wall hanging.
A so-called trijp, i.e., velour woven.
Dimensions: 240 x 143 cm. Quite a large size.
Typical motifs of the Amsterdam School period. The condition is unquestionably good, especially given its age.

Prachtig kleed uit 1930 aangekocht , tot 1960 gebruikt en vervolgens in een koffer bewaard.  
Recent eruit gehaald  dus goed bewaard gebleven. 
Het betreft een divan of wandkleed . 
Een zogenaamde trijp . Dus velours geweven.  
Afmetingen  240 x 143 cm . Bijzonder groot formaat.  
Typische patronen van de Amsterdamse school periode. De conditie is zonder meer goed.  Zeker gezien de leeftijd.
