Wood and metal cased Japanese wall regulator clock from the 1970s (JC – Super Deluxe), mechanical 31‑day movement with half‑hour strike on a gong, pendulum and original winding key included, dimensions 42×24×11 cm, 3 kg, in good vintage condition with minor age marks.
Description from the seller
Charming vintage mechanical regulator wall clock of Japanese manufacture (Brand: JC - Super Deluxe), dating back to the 1970s.
The satin metal dial features highly legible Arabic numerals, black hands, and the "31 Day" inscription, indicating a high-autonomy mechanical movement. The case is made of wood with a distinctive grained front finish typical of the era's design, and a hinged front door fitted with a striped glass pane on the lower section.
The clock comes complete with all its original components:
Shiny chrome-plated pendulum.
Original butterfly winding key.
Case Condition: Good vintage cosmetic condition. The wooden case shows light, normal signs of age and wear, minor surface scuffs on the black side paint, as seen in photo.
The original glass panes are intact.
Movement: Complete with key and pendulum. The movement is running and the striking mechanism is working (the gong chimes properly during winding). As it is a vintage clock, it is sold as-is: the general functionality of the movement and chimes has been verified, but the exact timekeeping precision and hour/half-hour synchronization over a long period have not been fully tested. It may therefore require routine fine-tuning or oiling by the buyer to align the chiming perfectly.
Dial: The dial is clean and highly legible; however, please note a minor surface scratch near the center, partially behind the path of the hands (visible upon close inspection in the detailed photos).
