Fontignac - Casserole dish - oval - Cast iron

Very beautiful oval casserole of the reputable Fontignac brand from France, made in the 2000s. Since 1926.
In cast iron with a next-generation coating that makes it compatible with all heat sources.
Its handles double as a lid rest, as you can see in the photos. (ingenious).

A minor chip is visible in the photos that are part of the description. Otherwise in perfect condition. Never used.
These cocottes come with a lifetime warranty, provided by the manufacturer.
It is very sturdy, practical.
It offers gentle and straightforward cooking for foods, while allowing them to retain all their vitamins—top, very responsive, and a good conductor, with heat well distributed.
