Elegant and rare center table writing desk (or gaming/coffee table) in full Louis XVI style, dating to the late 19th century.
The furniture fully expresses the neoclassical rigor of the era: it is supported by four slender legs with a square pyramid trunk (the iconic Louis XVI spindly legs), ending with protective brass caps. The front rail hosts a large drawer finished with two splendid period bronze/brass knobs.
The top features a refined wooden edging that encloses a central inlay. The inside of the drawer retains its vintage lining. A piece of great charm, with perfectly balanced proportions, ideal for adding a touch of authentic history to any room.
