Constant's Tekeningen is a first edition softcover Dutch catalogue published by Galerie Delta Rotterdam, consisting of 24 unnumbered pages in 22 x 22 cm, illustrated and in good condition.
Description from the seller
An almost unobtainable catalog of the Dutch Cobra artist Constant (Nieuwenhuys). The catalog, which is issued for the occasion of Constant's exhibition at GALERIE DELTA ROTTERDAM, Rotterdam Circle of Artists – Witte de Withstraat 35A, contains 24 unnumbered pages and is titled "NEW-BABYLON DRAWINGS 161-1962." A catalog was published on the occasion of the exhibition of Constant at GALERIE DELTA ROTTERDAM. In total, 13 new drawings were shown. C. Caspari wrote a two-page introduction in German and Constant himself wrote a six-page text in Dutch. The rest of the catalog consists of Constant's new drawings.
Catalogue dimensions: 22 x 22 cm
Condition: the catalog is in reasonably good condition with some signs of wear normal for a book more than 60 years old. The spine is somewhat worn. There are a few scratches on the cover and in the bottom right there is a dog-eared corner of about 1 cm (see photos).
