SAN MARINO. 5 Lire. 1938.
- Value: 5 Lire.
- Year: 1938.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO with a feminine allegorical bust facing left, hair tied back and a classical headdress. Reverse: the numeral 5 superimposed on a vertical fasces bundle, with an olive branch, surrounded by a crown of beads and the legend LIRE 5.
- Grading: MS65 (NGC).
Coin of 5 Lire from the 1930s series of the Republic of San Marino, with a strongly classical design and symbolism clearly influenced by the Italian period. The obverse features a left-facing feminine bust with serene features and firm modeling, good detail in the hair and facial contour. The reverse shows the face value integrated into a vertical composition with fasces and a plant branch, with well-defined and balanced reliefs. This specimen is uncirculated, with original luster partially preserved, a light golden patina, and minimal surface marks typical of the grade, with clean fields and a very attractive visual presentation.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to be absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
