Description from the seller
For sale: a beautiful used W48 telephone with a rotary dial. Strictly speaking, this phone is a new production, but one that closely resembles the original W48.
The device has recently been made suitable to operate on the modern telephone network.
This device was bought new in the early 1990s in Germany from the then Bundespost and brought to the Netherlands and subsequently adapted for the Dutch telephone network.
This phone was used only briefly due to the advent of push-button phones and disappeared to the attic.
The W48 is an analog phone and has recently been retrieved from the attic during a clearance.
To make it compatible with the current modern telephone network, a converter has been purchased, which converts the phone’s pulse signal to a signal suitable for a modem. The converter is included in the purchase.
The converter has been connected to the phone by a specialist, tested, and found to be in order. It therefore works on a modern modem.
The phone comes with a cable of about 4 meters in length. On the phone you can connect either an RJ11 plug or an old 4-pin plug.
A manual/description for operation is included.
The phone is in good condition with a nice shine and no damage.
For people who love vintage items and want a beautiful, functional addition to their interior, this is recommended.
