Description from the seller

Unique opportunity: Beautiful Renault 4 F6 (1983) – Directly from France!

With a rear bench!

Thanks to the dry French climate, the bodywork and chassis have remained in exceptionally solid and healthy condition.

Key specifications
Brand/Model: Renault 4 F6 (Extended van version)
Year: 1983
Color: Beige / Blanc Réale
Engine: Powerful and reliable 1108cc (C1E) four-cylinder

Origin:
France (Rigid body, no rust pits!)

Condition:
Very nice, original and drivable condition

Why this Renault 4 F6 is unique:
Rigid French base, no hidden rust in the floor or wheel arches. The car has weathered time fantastically in France.

Aesthetic condition:
The paint is very neat with only minimal, characteristic signs of use that fit its age. The left front wing shows some blistering where the exhaust damper is located. (see last photo)

Technical:
The engine starts immediately, runs smoothly, and the transmission shifts as it should.

Practical classic:
The F6 is the extended variant of the R4 van. This means extra loading space. Ideal as a promotional vehicle, small camper, or for the enthusiast who wants to transport things in style.

Status and documentation:
The car comes with the original French documents (Carte Grise), which makes import to RDW a breeze. The car is fully original and not encrypted.

Are you the enthusiast who will get this French beauty back on the road or use it for your business? Feel free to come and view this beautiful Renault 4 F6!

Because the vehicle is older than 1996, no COC document is required for registration in Europe.

PICK-UP:

This R4 can be viewed and picked up in Damwoude, the Netherlands. The car is currently not approved for public roads.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Although the car is in exceptionally good condition, it remains a 43-year-old vehicle and there may always be small signs of use or points of attention. We describe our cars as honestly as possible and always recommend visiting the car in person if in doubt to avoid disappointment. Transport across Europe can be arranged by us. This is a unique opportunity to become the owner of a special and original piece of automotive history.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
