On the other hand, domestic animals being set apart as ritual masks is rarer.
Zoomorphic masks of animals such as the Ram, the Goat, the Horse, the Rooster, the Dog will nevertheless add extra symbolism to the masquerades, but also, in some cases, represent the animal to be sacrificed.
