Pineapple quartz group from Madagascar with three well‑developed main tips emerging from a base covered by numerous smaller crystals; weight 539 g, dimensions 11.5 × 8 × 5.5 cm.
Description from the seller
Quartz group "Pigna" from Madagascar, composed of three well-developed main tips that rise from a base covered with numerous small crystals. The larger tips show a more evident transparency compared to the rest of the specimen, creating a pleasant contrast with the more compact, milky crystalline mass that surrounds them.
The surface is rich in details and secondary crystals well-formed that coat the base and intermediate zones, giving depth and brilliance to the whole. The overall appearance is harmonious and very decorative, with natural growth resembling the typical shape of so-called "Pigna" or "pineapple" quartz.
The quartz shows a good natural luster. The main tips are partially transparent, while the smaller crystals range from translucent to opaque. The specimen is well preserved, with the usual small natural imperfections compatible with the type and origin of the sample.
