Description from the seller
Four decorative vintage school stools. These stools are in fairly good condition and date from the 1960s. The (almost identical) stools are 49 cm high and the seat has a diameter of about 35 cm. The weight of one stool is approximately 2 kg.
Each stool has 3 steel legs, and three stools have a seat made of pagholz (beech wood impregnated with synthetic resin, pressed). The fourth stool has a plywood seat.
The stools are in quite reasonable condition. They are all 100% stable, but notably one of the stools has legs with a lot of the varnish worn away by the weather, another stool is missing a rubber protective cap under the seat, and yet another stool has two leg-protective caps worn down. Also, one seat has a portion of the edge chipped. All of these signs of use are pictured. However, these signs are natural for stools of about 60 years old that have been heavily used by schoolchildren (who often do not treat them gently!). The signs of use on these stools give the furniture character. The traces of hundreds of children! They fit very well in any interior, are quick and easy to clean, and are stackable! Very functional and appealing nostalgic furniture!
Of course they can be used as seating furniture, but you can also use them as a pedestal and even as a side table (despite the fact that the seats have some sagging).
The stools are carefully packed and shipped insured.
