French folk art 1850.
Magnificent mirror to lure birds in wood, brass and inlays of colored glass.
This item was highly prized in the 19th century as it was used to frighten birds and drive them away from vegetable gardens and fruit trees.
Good general condition, no structural defects. Normal wear for an object of almost 200 years.
Height 47 cm.
Original item that can still serve its primary use in a garden or simply as decoration with its pretty polychrome glass inlays.
