Italian sculptor Giuseppe Armani produced a resin figurine titled Dama con manicotto in 1987, in Italy, in the Art Déco style, unsigned, with dimensions 48 cm high and 13.5 cm square.
Description from the seller
Giuseppe Armani, the famous Italian sculptor born in 1935 and who passed away in 2006
As can be seen from his work, this is a faithful handcrafted reproduction
In 1973 he joined Florence Sculture d'Arte in Tuscany.
This figurine is called Lady With Muff and was made in Italy in 1987, as indicated on the base.
As shown in the images, the woman wears a light beige blouse with a dark ruffled collar and dark trousers. She also holds a muff in her hand while looking to the side, absorbed in her thoughts.
A large hat and a pearl necklace make these splendid figurines even more unique.
It presents in good vintage condition, with small signs of wear as expected for a piece of its era, all visible in the pictures.
A splendid decorative ornament that would brighten any room
The crowned "N" is the historic distinctive mark for Capodimonte porcelain (used especially in southern Italy without the use of kaolin and thus less glossy than the traditional) introduced by Carlo Borbone, king of Naples, in 1743, to identify the production of the Real Fabbrica della Porcellana di Capodimonte but the figurine for sale is resin and bears the logo as a faithful and complete reproduction
Esthetically it features the milky color with hand-painted details, whose maintenance requires care and attention.
The lady's gaze is so vivid while a trace of a mole and the cheeks slightly reddened seem to bring her to life
The piece has a small color loss on the shoe and light overall discoloration that, given its age, makes it more fascinating than a piece just out of the factory
WE DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
For the Islands we reserve the right to request a surcharge for shipping costs potentially increased by the couriers
