Pair of vintage Poltrona Frau armchairs from the 1960s/70s, model “Dream” – full-grain leather.
Elegant pair of Poltrona Frau armchairs, made between the late 1960s and early 1970s, in a configuration representing an early version of the famous “Dream” model.
A rare example of Frau craftsmanship from the pre-industrial era, executed with traditional materials and construction techniques.
The armchairs stand out for their solid, enveloping structure, generously padded scroll armrests, and brown full-grain leather with a beautiful warm patina.
The details in thick hand-cut leather (straps and fastening buttons) and the internal raw natural linen canvas are unmistakable signs of Frau production from that period.
On the lower sides of the leather, the “Poltrona Frau” brand is visible, fire-stamped—an extraordinarily elegant and comfortable set, a testament to the timeless aesthetic and manufacturing quality that have made Poltrona Frau an icon of Italian design.
