Description from the seller

PANORAMIC/CONDITIONS
Porsche 911 2.4 T Targa (1973), fully restored in every detail:
Bodywork brought to zero (absolutely no rust), engine, gearbox and carburetors fully disassembled and rebuilt, complete overhaul of the electrical system, interiors fully restored, mechanics and suspension completely overhauled, original soft top revised with new interior and exterior lining.

Nitro lacquer hand-polished, without final clear coat.
Original color Light Yellow
Engine and transmission disassembled and fully rebuilt (approximately 2,500 km driven).

Complete carburetor overhaul.

The restoration took about 7 years (purchased at the end of 2018 and completed in June 2025), bodywork fully restored (see attached photos) and brought to “zero,” with no rust anywhere on the body.

One German owner (the car was registered in Germany and has had 2 Italian owners).

“Matching numbers” is considered between the chassis number and the engine number, not always reported on Porsche certificates (attached with the photos), as in those years (1960s/1970s) they did not always transcribe them in their internal registries.

All photographic documentation of the total restoration is available, along with the fiscal documentation of the work carried out during the 8 years of restoration.
Vehicle in superb overall condition.

Accessories added to those on the Porsche certificate:
- Front and rear stabilizer bars (Series S);
- Steel door sills (Series S);
- Original 38 cm leather steering wheel (Series RS);
- Thicker premium carpeting (Series S);
- Magnesium front brake calipers (Series S);
- Original Recaro seats with headrests and central velvet;
- Complete original period toolkit bag;
- Blaupunkt vintage-style radio with hands-free, Bluetooth and DAB.

Any inspection at Official Porsche Centers.

DOCUMENTATION
Italian documents included, instruction manual, certificate and original Porsche heritage.

Vehicle viewable in Palermo, Italy.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
