Chinese Buddhist deity sculpture, wood carving 1900s. With bone accents (teeth and eyes) inlaid into the dark wood.

Good conditions, wear from long exposure and time.

Period: 1900 - 1950

Dimensions: H 31 cm

Conditions: medium good, wear from exposure, and some aging wood expansion fractures.

1. a standing Buddhist monk accompanied by a dog.

2. a wise man or deity holding peaches, with a monkey by his side

3. a standing Buddha holding a staff with a ruyi scepter tip, with a deer by his feet. The scepter got broken so needs fixing, or it can be removed and replaced.
