French Napoleon III-style Etagere in Ebonized Wood with Inlays
Elegant French etagere in the Napoleon III style, dating from the 19th century, crafted in ebonized wood with refined inlays of thuja root veneer. The upper shelf is enhanced by a rich geometric inlay decoration, with a central motif framed and a mother-of-pearl plaque at the center, all enclosed by a refined gallery of pierced brass that heightens its elegance.
The plinth fascia houses a convenient front drawer, also fluted and decorated, complete with the original bronze handle finely worked. The structure is supported by turned ebonized uprights, connected to three shelves also inlaid with geometric motifs that echo the design of the upper plane, creating a harmonious whole of great aesthetic taste.
