Cabinet of Curiosities Auction (Exploration of Earth)

This is an heirloom brought back from Papua New Guinea in the 1980s by a German tourism manager. It is kauri copal, hardened and partially polished. The color ranges from honey-yellow to honey-brown. Inclusions are also visible in this young amber (copal). So far, however, I have only been able to discover plant inclusions. I would be happy to see this object go into the care of a collector. Shipping will be from Germany.

Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Erbstück, welches in den 1980er Jahren von einem deutschen  Tourismus Manager aus Papua Neuguinea mitgebracht wurde. 
Es handelt sich um Kauri - Kopal, ausgehärtet und zum Teil anpoliert. Die Farbe ist Honig-Gelb bis Honig-Braun. In diesem jungen Bernstein (Kopal) sind auch Inklusen sichtbar. Bisher konnte ich jedoch nur pflanzliche Inklusen entdecken.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn das Objekt in die Obhut eines Sammlers käme.
