St. Louis - Drinking set (5) - Chantilly - Crystal

Set of five mouth-blown, hand-cut clear crystal flute glasses. They feature the typical narrow, slender flute shape, ideal for preserving the bubbles' perlage. The crystal work is rich and intricate: the lower half of the bowl is decorated with a dense cross-cut (diamond) motif that creates a three-dimensional geometric texture. Just above this lattice, vertical lancet cuts rise and fade upward, leaving the rim of the glass completely smooth. The stem is notably long and slender. It presents a faceted section with flat sides (hexagonal) that catch the light in a linear way. The classic circular, smooth, flat base provides excellent visual balance to the verticality of the bowl. Under the base are stamped the prestigious Saint-Louis crystal house, Chantilly model!
