Jesus Ballester Marco - Display cabinet - Walnut - Spanish Renaissance

Rare and elegant Spanish display cabinet by Jesús Ballester Marco, in Benetússer (Valencia, Spain).

The piece features a remarkable decoration of the Spanish Renaissance: sculpted mascarons, fantastical animals, ornamental friezes, and richly worked feet. The sides are also glazed, offering a beautiful display of the objects exhibited.

On the back are preserved the original manufacture labels mentioning:

This label constitutes an interesting element of provenance and authenticity.

The cabinet still has its original locks and hardware. The drawers are assembled with traditional dovetail joints.
