Luxman - PD-284 Turntable

Fully functional in every part. It is all intact, even the plexiglass, which has no cracks, opens and closes perfectly and has very few light signs due to little use. The turntable as a whole doesn’t show its age: the wood has no scratch, as does the plinth, not to mention the platter which is as shiny as it just came from the shop. The mechanisms are all perfect, without friction. The pitch control is perfect, as is the rotation, the adjustments, the tonearm. Even the rubber mat is the original one but looks new. The pins were replaced so as not to have to replace the original cable that was broken at one point. This avoided opening the turntable and risking damage with the soldering iron. The new cartridge with a new stylus is a Rega Carbon. I include the original Audiotechnica 3100XE with a stylus that can be replaced, which is worn. The MC cartridge, even without a stylus, is nonetheless replaceable, has its value, it is of higher level and is hard to find.
