Vincenzo D'Alba's Faces series comprises four white 20 × 20 cm ceramic tiles, signed by the artist and decalcomania-printed, framed in a natural wood frame with a matte black finish, overall 35 × 35 cm and 3 cm deep, in near‑new condition.
Description from the seller
4 white 20 x 20 cm tiles from the Faces series, in a natural wood frame glazed black matte 35 x 35 cm, in a box frame with passe-partout.
They originate from the use of Made in Italy white ceramic tiles on which the designs are printed, signed by Vincenzo D’Alba, using the decalcomanie technique.
The “Faces” series consists of twelve variants of stylized faces that seem to become pop images.
A graphic and iconographic synthesis capable of reading the interior space decoration with introspection and originality.
The Vincenzo d’Alba series *Face* explores in these 4 illustrations the human face, capturing nuances between the serious and the ironic. Each stroke is a look at everyday life, a play of expressions that tells identity with lightness and depth.
The 4 frames are in like-new condition but without the original packaging, stamped on the back with Kiasmo.
Frame variant not present on the site
