Elegant and complete silver-plated tea and coffee service, produced by Orfevrerie Gallia, the historic Christofle France division, one of the most prestigious names in French silverware.
The service consists of 5 pieces:
Coffee pot with lid 22 cm H
Teapot with lid 19 cm H
Sugar bowl with lid 13 cm H
Milk jug 10 cm H
Large oval tray 48 cm / 33 cm
The four pieces (coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug) feature an octagonal faceted body in Art Déco style, with original dark wood handles and knobs. Marked on the base with the "Gallia" punch and model number 5992.
The large oval tray is marked "Fleuron France" and is decorated with an elaborate engraved floral motif and pierced border.
Condition: very good for age, with light signs of use. The silver plating is bright and well preserved.
