Description of the fossil:
Tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus, known as the “African T. rex,” one of the largest carnivorous theropods that inhabited North Africa.
This specimen shows very high quality, with excellent, thick, and well-preserved enamel, as well as a very pronounced and sharp serration, an essential feature for identifying authentic teeth of this great predator.
It stands out especially for preserving part of the root, something uncommon in Kem Kem teeth, which increases its scientific and collecting value.
The piece shows a robust morphology, typical curvature, and a natural surface with no invasive restorations.
