Description from the seller

An antique-style, glazed teak chest of drawers (apothekerskast / haberdashery cabinet) is shown, which is excellent for organizing and displaying decorative items, collections or smaller objects.
Furniture features
Material: High-quality, richly textured teak.
Design: It has six vertically arranged drawers.
Special feature: Each drawer has an oval glass window at the front, through which you can see the contents of the drawers (for example, shells, decorative accessories or yarn).Dimensions: Approximately 128 cm high, 42 cm wide and 40 cm deep.
It is difficult to clearly identify a country based on the style and details of the cabinet, but the use of shell-shaped handles and dark wood may be reminiscent of furniture from some European regions. Small chests of drawers of this type were often used as medicine or spice storage, which was common in Central or Western Europe, especially Germany, France or the Anglo-Saxon countries.
We left the small parts behind the glass in, but you can easily take them out. There is a removable wall in front of the glass where you can put the decorations, and you can then take anything in or out of it by lifting it up.

Details such as oval glass windows and shell patterns may refer to rustic or baroque style features, which are mainly found in 18th-19th century European furniture. If we look at the taps on the top of the furniture, it seems that it could even be from the 19th century.
The cabinet is in extremely good condition for its age and can be used as a prime piece of furniture or decoration for a long time to come.
Due to the size, value and bulk of the item, it is difficult to mail, so personal collection is preferred.
You can pick it up in Zevenhuizen, next to Gouda.
