Description from the seller
The Pioneer CMX-3000 is a professional dual DJ CD player (rack-mount twin-deck system) released in the early 2000s. Before USB controllers and modern CDJs became standard, it was widely used in clubs, bars, and mobile DJ setups. An interesting historical note: the CMX-3000 came out only a few months after the legendary Pioneer CDJ-1000 and borrowed several of its ideas, such as waveform display, hot cues, and scratch-style jog-wheel control, making it one of the most advanced rack-mount dual CD players of its era.

Plays CD, CD-R, and CD-RW
Wave Display (shows track waveform overview)
3 Hot Cues per disc
Seamless looping and Reloop
Emergency Loop (automatically creates a loop if the track ends unexpectedly)

Is it still usable today?
Yes, if you:
play CDs,
collect vintage DJ equipment,
need a budget dual-deck CD setup.
However, it has no USB, no Rekordbox, no SD card support, and no networking, so it is mainly of interest to collectors or DJs who still work with CDs. Modern systems such as the Pioneer CDJ-3000 are far more capable, but also much more expensive.
The Pioneer CMX-3000 was officially announced by Pioneer on 15 November 2001, with sales starting in December 2001. This current one is roughly 22 years old (released in august 2004).
