Overview
The Nikon D800 was a groundbreaking professional FX-format SLR camera that redefined resolution standards at the time of its release. The 36.3-megapixel full-frame sensor delivers exceptional detail, a wide dynamic range, and superior tonal expression, making it highly popular among landscape, studio, architectural, and commercial photographers. With Nikon's proprietary robust 51-point autofocus system and a dustproof and splashproof magnesium alloy body, the D800 continues to perform exceptionally well even more than 10 years after its release.

Collector's Notes
Released in 2012, the Nikon D800 marked a turning point in digital photography. At a time when most full-frame cameras had around 20-24 megapixels, Nikon shocked the market with its 36.3-megapixel sensor, achieving detail comparable to medium format cameras in a much lower price and more compact size. For photographers who require the highest resolution and dynamic range—landscape, architecture, fashion, studio photographers, etc.—the D800 quickly became a staple. Even today, D800 files are highly valued for their depth and flexibility in post-processing, and many photographers continue to use it as their main high-resolution camera. With its robust magnesium alloy construction, dust and splash-proof design, professional-grade control layout, and in-body AF motor that drives all Nikon F-mount lenses, including older screw-drive lenses, this camera has been a reliable companion for many years. This particular unit is especially attractive because, with only 11,195 shutter counts, it has been used very little, and despite being a high-resolution full-frame Nikon camera, a large portion of its mechanical life remains. The fact that it comes with a genuine Nikon MH-25 charger and is made in Japan makes this an excellent opportunity for collectors and professional photographers alike.
