Scale - Lacquered brass - balance scale

This industrial, classic, complete old balance scale comes from a grocery shop of my childhood years and has been in use for several generations! The scale has two bowls (and they have been used frequently as shown in the photos). The white-painted frame sits on a cast-iron foot, and in the middle is the balance mechanism with an indicator that shows when both sides are in balance. On the beam with the sliding weight, the graduations are visible for reading and adjusting the weight. All of this is in good working order! The accompanying storage box holds a complete, very well-preserved 13-piece set of calibration weights, ranging from 1 kg to 1 g, which is already a rarity. Photos speak for themselves.
