An antique 18th-century single-hand lantern clock from the 1730-1740 period
A particularly fine French lantern clock from the 1725-1750 period, Avignon region.
Completely original. Escapement with anchor, iron pendulum with brass lens, running time about 24 hours.
Half-hour strike with a locking disc on the bronze bell.
Iron supports for the lantern, anchor, pendulum suspension, bell hammer and bell support.
Early bronze casting with a forward-looking rooster and, in a medallion, a likeness of a young Louis XV.
