Description from the seller
400-day clock - JUF 1920
Mechanical - 400-day movement - Without strike
Here is a beautiful JUF mantel clock from around 1920, complete with a glass dome. The clock is technically in order and recently serviced.
The clock is from just after the First World War, more than 100 years old and thus antique.
The clock was originally finished with a varnish layer, which gives the patinas a warm appearance and preserves the authentic character. The clock also has some damage, see photos, which adds to its charm of age.
This model has a serial number 158351, and is therefore dated to 1920.
The movement has been dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned, and after reassembly provided with oil. See also the penultimate photo. This guarantees you a years-long, trouble-free clock!
Don’t worry about shipping; the movement and the dome are packed separately first and then placed in a larger box.
400-day clocks must be set up with care. An instruction to this effect is included, as well as of course the key.
