Distler - Model coupé - VW Brezelkäfer

A rare Volkswagen Brezelkäfer tin toy from the well-known Distler brand in the large 23 cm version.

This historical post-war toy is in an optically outstanding and very well-maintained original condition.

The original gray-green paint has a beautiful shine and shows only minimal signs of age.

The model is complete, including the rare original driver figure at the steering wheel as well as the clean bumpers and hubcaps. The original packaging is not included in the delivery.

The technical condition of the clockwork is largely intact. When the vehicle is placed on the ground and pulled back, it runs off smoothly.

The axles and gears engage perfectly. With direct winding using the supplied square key, the spring currently does not engage correctly and slips.

This is a typical issue that is easily fixable for collectors or specialists. An absolutely honest, unrestored collectible of high rarity.
