Decorative ornament - Italy - Box called Servitude

Calling box, this wooden box was used in hotels to communicate with the concierge, who would send the waiters. This type of box was more commonly used in former brothels. In the last photo I included, you can clearly see the box in a brothel on Via delle Zoccolette in Rome. I took the photo from the internet to illustrate the article in question. The dimensions are: height 37 cm, width 47 cm, in excellent condition, and three are missing. It has all the original components and is in perfect condition. If desired, it can be put back into operation; the side hook for the numeric lowering is functional.
