Twelve beige linen napkins from Italy, each 42 x 42 cm, new and never used, dating to 2000–2010, featuring a hand-embroidered floral design and a hand-made needle lace edge.
Description from the seller
Refined set consisting of 12 napkins in pure linen, new and never used, expression of high-level artisanal craftsmanship.
Each napkin is embellished with a handmade embroidery featuring a stylized floral design, executed with satin stitch and grass stitch.
The embroidery, tone-on-tone, is sober and elegant.
The perimeter is finished with a precious needlepoint filet lace, entirely handmade: a slow and complex workmanship, discernible by the regularity of the mesh and the fineness of the knots, which gives the napkin an authentically vintage character and great textile value.
Ideal for accompanying antique or vintage tablecloths lacking napkins, particularly Venetian-tradition tablecloths (such as Burano), with which they interact harmoniously without overpowering them.
Also perfect when used individually, to set a stylish table for special occasions: elegant aperitifs, afternoon tea, intimate place settings, or representative tables.
