Beautiful Female Mwana Pwo mask of the Chokwe people living in Angola/Congo.
Ex collection Alain Bruno - France.
Now in my personal Dutch collection.

The mask with a lightbrown patina has the traditional scarifications on the forehead and cheeks.
On top a stylist bird. Slit eyes.
Mouth with filed teeth.

Material: wood, beads, metal, raffia, buttons, fibres.
