Mobach - Vase - Mo-C4 - Ceramic - Cylinder vase

A beautiful and rare piece of Dutch studio ceramics from the renowned Mobach factory in Utrecht.
This piece, model number Mo-C4, dates from the 1970s / early 1980s and fits perfectly within a Brutalist or Space Age mid-century modern interior.
The piece is finished in a striking, deep cobalt blue glaze.
Thanks to its minimalist, cylindrical design with the organic oval cutout on the upper side, the piece has a very strong sculptural presence.
It can function as a monumental floor vase, umbrella stand, or purely as a design object.
The bottom is fully documented and bearing the hand-engraved signature "Mobach", as well as the original white-silver factory sticker with the handwritten model number Mo-C4.
A beautiful collectible for enthusiasts of European design ceramics.
The piece is in good vintage condition with normal signs of age on the foot ring (see photos).
The original paper sticker is fully intact. No major cracks or restorations.
