Pinched-base jug: This is what literally 'jug with a pinched base' means.
Estimated period around 1750.
Origin: France.
The jug is roughly made, purely as a utilitarian item.
Also clear signs of use.
There are old repairs visible and the lid is missing.
The inside has, what appears to be, limescale.
Nevertheless the jug is in good used condition with signs of age and use.

Cruche à base pincée: Dit is wat letterlijk "kruik met geknepen voet" betekent. 
Geschatte periode rond 1750.
Herkomst Frankrijk. 
De kruik is ruw vervaardigd,  puur als gebruiksartikel.
Tevens duidelijke gebruikssporen. 
Er zijn oude reparaties zichtbaar en de deksel mist.
De binnenkant heeft,  wat lijkt, kalkaanslag .
Desondanks verkeerd de kruik in goede gebruikte staat met tekenen van leeftijd en gebruik.
Kleuren en tinten kunnen op de foto's afwijken
