Art Deco extendable dining table in precious wood veneer with an octagonal top and lyre pedestal, independent leaf and dimensions 131 cm wide by 113 cm deep and 76 cm high, dating to 1930–1940, in good condition with signs of age.

Large Art Deco extendable dining table in precious wood veneer.
This elegant table is distinguished by its octagonal top with harmonious proportions and its superb veneering work with a symmetrical pattern, characteristic of Art Deco aesthetics. Its sculptural lyre-shaped pedestal, connected by a metal crosspiece, gives it a refined yet architectural presence.
The table has an independent extension allowing more guests to be seated comfortably.
The tabletop features beautiful figuring and a rich depth of material highlighted by its glossy finish.
In good overall condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
Acquired at the Serpette Market in Saint-Ouen in the 1990s, with a receipt describing it as a “Art Deco period table.”
