Description from the seller
Art Deco-style table, crafted with fine burl wood veneer selections, with rich, deep grain that create a warm and elegant scenographic effect.
The top, large and slightly shaped, is embellished with a delicate inlaid filet along the edge, executed with great precision. The mirror-polished finish enhances the material, highlighting the natural figuring of the wood.
The structure is characterized by:
- column legs with elliptical bases, solid and well-proportioned
- curved central crossbar, a distinctive element that recalls the geometric and dynamic taste of the era
- balance between soft lines and substantial volumes, typical of Deco design.
High-quality artisanal furniture, recognizable in the precision of the inlays, in the continuity of the grains (carefully matched) and in the multi-pass glossy finish.
The construction showcases traditional cabinetmaking techniques, with attention to both structural solidity and aesthetics.
This piece fits within the Art Deco thread, an international movement developed between the 1920s and 1940s, characterized by elegance, luxury and modernity.
It evokes the taste of the great Deco masters and designers active between France and Italy, where furniture production united high-level craftsmanship and stylistic innovation, intended for bourgeois residences and representative interiors.
