Balance or scale - Metal, Brass - Spice Scale

Charming Spice Balance, cast iron and brass, France, early 20th century. Beautiful manual balance, in cast iron with brass cups. One of the cups has a spout that confirms its function. The other is marked with several stamps — authorities’ control marks that confirmed the conformity and veracity of the measurements made (keeping track of the price of spices). The base shows restoration, and two of the arms that support the cups have a small missing piece. But the balance is functional and fair. Some traces of oxidation. Dimensions 36x14x15 cm (120).
