Description from the seller

Morad Bouchakour was one of the photographers invited by Foam (Photography Museum Amsterdam) to provide a portrayal of contemporary New York for a group exhibition in the city commemorating the 400-year relationship between the Netherlands and Manhattan.

Bouchakour, who previously lived in New York, focused his camera on passersby who deliberately do not stand out in the streetscape. This reportage was cast into a large leporello by communications agency Vandejong, which also works for Foam, and the jury felt it suited the nature of Bouchakour's photography well. This was released in a limited edition of only 500 copies. (this is copy 471/500)
