Description from the seller
This issue introduces a new graphical form of the title "Le Petit Vingtième," which underscores Hergé's wish at the time to modernize as much as possible the cover of his issues.
The issue from Thursday, September 8, 1932, presents, on the center double page, the adventures of Tintin Reporter in America.
The cover of this issue is exceptional, since it is one of the rare color photographs for that year 1932, in which one can see a photomontage identical to those Hergé liked to create for the supplement "Votre Vingtième Madame".
In this case, the montage is very successful, as Hergé extends the illustration with a red light that appears beneath the title "Le Petit Vingtième," and it has a striking effect.
In near mint condition, which is rare for that year 1932.
