Description from the seller
SAE 3000+ SAE 220
Preamplifier + Power Amplifier
In the early 1970s, if you were looking for the ultimate in transistor amplification, SAE was the benchmark brand.
The model presented is the SAE 3000 + SAE 220 Preamplifier/Power Amplifier set, from the 1978 range. It is the export model designed for Europe and compatible with 220/240-volt supply.
The SAE 3000 Preamplifier
True to the philosophy that the cleaner the signal, the better, the SAE 3000 is a rack-mount model with advanced controls for a sound of exceptional purity. Its technical specifications are such that it’s hard to believe it dates from the 1970s,
The SAE 220 Amplifier
This minimalist amplifier, but designed for exceptional performance, is the sibling of the SAE 2200, exactly the same amplifier but without the LED meters.
The build quality is outstanding: no plastic components. The cooling fins and the chassis testify to a robust design suitable for high loads and powerful output.
Their presentation and performance will delight the most demanding audiophiles.
