In bronze, very finely sculpted and chiselled,
Gilded bronze and polished to an agate finish
The dial signed Vivin Fils at Epernay.
Surmounted by a seated female figure. On her lap sits a carrier pigeon bearing a message. A dog rests against her leg.
The base is ornamented with a bas-relief depicting a Cupid and a woman connected by a garland of flowers, one holding a bouquet of flowers and the other a wreath of flowers
The base is supported by four feet shaped like spigots.
