"Goldorak 50th Anniversary - Street Ed" unique work – Blue&Gold Ed
With this piece, SKE pays tribute to Goldorak, a mythical figure of Japanese animation and a true generational icon. Born in the imagination of the 1970s and having become a cult among several generations, Goldorak remains associated with an entire universe: Actarus, Euphor, Vega, the Golgoths, the Fulguropoing, the Astero-hache, the Cornofulgure, the Spacecraft, the Space Research Center and the struggle between Earth and extraterrestrial forces.
This composition celebrates Goldorak’s 50th anniversary, 1975–2025, by blending Japanese aesthetics, calligraphy, vintage manga codes and the energy of contemporary street art. Mount Fuji, vertical writings, golden splatters and spray effects give the work a dimension that is ceremonial, pop and urban at the same time.
SKE revisits one of the most powerful symbols of Franco-Japanese popular culture. The robot appears as a monumental, almost sacred figure, balancing childhood memory, commemorative poster and contemporary pop icon. The drips, textures and painterly gesture provide a modern reading faithful to the street/pop universe of the artist.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and versatile creator who has grown up with 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s market value has risen notably. He was the winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE is selected as "Artist of the Month" by Opulence gallery in October, and also featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been shown in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. Concurrently, SKE also makes a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and textured play define a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is clearly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.
Ranked & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line embodies the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works build a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to repurpose the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to face a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and superheroes is pervasive: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel heroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes recalling Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
